Yes, general admission tickets may be purchased at the gate at Harlinsdale Farms.
 
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
The Great Americana BBQ Festival will be presented rain or shine.
 
ARE REFUNDS, RAIN CHECKS OR EXCHANGES AVAILABLE?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds, rain checks or exchanges.

GENERAL BBQ FESTIVAL INFORMATION
 
WHERE IS THE GREAT AMERICANA BBQ FESTIVAL?
The Great Americana BBQ Festival is held at Harlinsdale Farms, a 198-acre historic district in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. Its main horse stable, the centerpiece of the property, was completed in 1935. Harlinsdale Farms is less than one mile north of the square in Franklin at 239 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN 37064.
 
WHAT TIME IS THE GREAT AMERICANA BBQ FESTIVAL
The Great Americana BBQ Festival will open at 10AM and close at 8PM. 
 
CAN I PURCHASE BBQ FROM THE COMPETITORS?
This is a competition. As with most Barbecue competitions local health regulations prohibit teams from serving barbecue directly to the general public. There are ways to try competition BBQ…  see below.
 
SO IS THERE ANY WAY TO EAT THE BBQ THEN?
You have two opportunities to enjoy competition BBQ. First, the general public has access to taste AND judge barbecue from the teams competing by purchasing a ticket for the People’s Choice Competition. The People’s Choice judging will take place between 12:00 PM and 3 PM. This unique judging experience gives anyone the chance to sample barbecue and vote for their favorite.
In addition, BBQ Alley, our food concession area, will have authentic competition BBQ available to purchase with side items and a variety of beverages.  
 
WHAT SHOULD I LEAVE AT HOME?
Do not bring: beverages, bicycles, cans, containers, coolers, food, glass bottles, laser pointers, over-sized umbrellas, pets or weapons.
 
WHAT AGES ARE ALLOWED TO ATTEND GREAT AMERICANA BBQ FESTIVAL?
All ages are welcome at Great Americana BBQ Festival, children under 12 are admitted free with a ticketed adult.  The Bourbon Tasting and Craft Brewery Tasting tents have a state regulated minimum age of 21.
 
DO I NEED CASH?
Most purchases can be made with cash or credit.
 
ANY OTHER TIPS TO ENJOY THE FESTIVAL? 
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT. Wearing comfortable clothes, sunscreen and a hat or sunglasses is suggested. Be aware that all bags and purses are subject to search. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes as well, the park is nearly a mile from end to end. So come on out, enjoy some great BBQ, music, and antique cars and help make a difference in our community.

IS THE GREAT AMERICANA BBQ FESTIVAL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Harlinsdale Farms is wheelchair accessible. Please be aware that the grounds are for the most part natural terrain, so if it should rain there will be mud in some places.
 
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Pets are not allowed. Service animals that are trained to assist an individual with a disability are allowed on the grounds of Harlinsdale Farms provided the animal does not pose a danger or threat to other service animals or patrons. Owners of service animals are responsible for the animal’s personal care. For entry into the events with a service animal, please bring your certificate and place the service animal in the appropriate vest to identify the animal. Service animals must be under the control of their owners at all times and must be on a leash at all times.
